A new Vaccines microsite section explores the company's legacy in disease prevention through vaccine innovation. A new Vaccines microsite has launched on Pfizer.com, the company's externally facing website.
Located under the "Health and Wellness" tab on Pfizer.com, the microsite serves as a gateway to information about Pfizer's commitment to advancing disease prevention through vaccination, and features information on Pfizer and its legacy companies' 100+-year history as a leader in vaccine innovation, and the company's pipeline and commitment to global access, including in the world's poorest countries.
"The development of vaccines to prevent serious disease is an extraordinary story of medical achievement — one in which Pfizer and its 'legacy' companies have played a critical role for more than a century," said Mark Swindell, President, Pfizer Vaccines. "Today, Pfizer is committed to ushering in a new era of vaccine innovation, both to prevent and treat disease. The Vaccines microsite provides a portal to Pfizer's rich vaccines heritage and promising future."
Launched earlier this month, the microsite currently features four main sections:
•Pfizer "Vaccines Overview";
"Legacy of Achievement";
"In the Developing World," and
"Our Vaccine Leaders."
