Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer Freda Lewis-Hall appears on the daytime medical talk show to offer tips on getting a better night's sleep.
Lack of sleep is a common problem in the U.S. On the April 8 episode of “The Doctors,” Freda and Dr. Travis Stork discuss some of the many causes of insomnia, a sleep disorder characterized by difficulty falling or staying asleep.
“What should you do if you have insomnia? Become your own sleep detective,” said Freda. “The first thing to do is track how and why you are losing sleep. And take note of your bedtime habits to see if they’re contributing.”
