Pfizer Chile supported the publication of a collection of short stories for children called “Imagine We Are Flying.”
To make life a little better for children who have to be hospitalized, the University of Chile Hospital, with strong support from Pfizer Chile, has published a book of short stories written by some of the county's most notable citizens.
“‘Imagine We are Flying’ is an example of Pfizer's commitment to the community and to the children,” said Monica Zerpa, General Manager, Pfizer Chile. “Now we can say that we are part of the 'wings' this book will bring to each child hospitalized in Chile.”
Minister of Health Carolina Schmidt, television personality Fernanda Urrejola, and football star Marcelo Salas were among the politicians, artists, and athletes who authored stories, which feature characters from Chile's history and landscape.
Pfizer Chile participated in the recent book launch and welcomed the opportunity to be a part of this initiative, which included the distribution of a thousand free copies of the book to pediatric units. Two editions of the book have already been published and there are plans for a third this year.
